Installing the ZWO Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA)

The ZWO Camera Angle Adjuster (CAA) is designed with a 16.5 mm backfocus, allowing it to seamlessly integrate with many standard ZWO spacers and accessories. For most ZWO configurations, no additional spacers or adapters are required, making installation straightforward.

However, if you are using an M48 telescope and are not incorporating a ZWO filter wheel or the ZWO Gen 2 M54 x 0.75 Filter Drawer for 2" Filters, you will need an M48-to-M54 adapter that does not add backfocus. This ensures your imaging train achieves the standard 55 mm backfocus required for optimal performance.

For telescopes with more lenient spacing requirements, the ZWO M48F-to-M54M adapter ring is a practical solution, simplifying setup while maintaining compatibility with your equipment.
