The William Optics 50 mm VIII Guide scope can easily fit on your William Optics OTA, and other OTA brands. The body of the guide scope is powder white with gold accents, making it an attractive addition to your set up. It is easy to use, stable when installed, and is compatible with various types of guiding CCD through the 1.25" RotoLock.
William Optics has designed this guide scope as a straight-through finder/guide scope with a 1.25" RotoLock, 50 mm aperture, and 200 mm focal length. It comes with an f/4 focal ratio and fully multi-coated optics to provide superb performance.
Once attached to your OTA, you can focus the guide scope by turning the dew shield, and then you can lock it in place to hold the focus. When it comes to camera compatibility, the 50 mm William Optics guide scope works well with all 1.25" cylinder-type guiding cameras.
