The Walz EV-LV light meter is a device used to measure the amount of light in photography. It is a selenium exposure meter that does not require a battery. The meter is to determine the proper exposure for a photograph by measuring the amount of light in a scene. The user turns the knob to select the film type/speed being used, and the meter assumes a shutter speed of 1/16th of a second for movie shooting.
