Adventure awaits

For centuries, telescopes have fascinated our minds. They have been our door to
the unknown, our way to explore, discover and contemplate
the unseen. Over time, they have evolved to help us see further and better.

Following the steps of those who came before us, we innovated and created a new
observation instrument to offer new possibilities for everyone. With their iconic design,
Vespera and Stellina claim their uniqueness in the astronomy landscape with style and elegance.
A revolutionary design for a revolutionary experience.

Contemplate the unseen.

Observe the universe as you’ve never seen it before.
Make visible what’s invible to our eyes with Vespera’s image live stacking technology.

Example with the Orion nebula M42, captured with a Vespera prototype (beta photo).
First image captured after 10 seconds VS image after 1 hour stacking

It has never been easier
to connect with the stars.

Vespera button 1920x1080
Super easy to use, just set up the tripod using the adjustable legs, and press the button.
Let Vespera come to life and calibrate itself through your devices’ GPS and our Star Field Recognition technology.
Using the app, select the object you want to observe, and Vespera will point and track it.

Auto-initialization

Vespera uses your mobile’s GPS, star pattern recognition and astrometry to calibrate itself. Set up your device and get it ready automatically in less than 5 minutes.

Auto-alignment

Our observation station embarks Go-To technology. Select a target in the app or enter any celestial coordinates, it will move and point to them automatically.

Auto-tracking

Driven by a motor and controlled by an embedded computer, Vespera automatically tracks your stellar object, compensating Earth’s rotation.

Auto-focus

Our products are the only telescopes on the market to incorporate autofocus. No longer any need for manual intervention to ensure the sharpness of your photos.

Small, yet powerful.

Quadruplet Apochromatic Refractor

Our team has designed a unique quadruplet lens of 50mm, formed by 2 groups of 2 lenses made with lanthanum glass. Vespera optics is one of the most accurate and powerful optical designs on the market with 0 distorsion, 0 chromatic aberration, 0 astigmatism.

High sensitivity Sony sensor

Vespera uses one the lastest Sony sensors developed for extreme low light. Its back-illuminated CMOS sensor offers a 1/2.8 format and a 2.9um pixel size. We’ve also developed our own electronic card to make sure that heat management stays optimal. A hot sensor means a lot of defaults, so our sensor board is designed to dissipate the maximum amount of heat.

- Under normal conditions of use (new product, charged battery, average humidity, continuous observation) & an ambient temperature of 20°C:
Battery life was measured at 8 hours.
- If anti-fog is activated:
Battery life was measured at 6 hours.

The battery life can be extended using a portable charger / a power bank.

I have owned the Vespera for about six months as part of the initial backers of the Vaonis telescope. It is very portable, sets up in a few minutes and then you are ready to start taking photos of the sky. The new Mosaic CovalENS mode is fantastic, increasing the image output from 2mpx to up to 8mpx, creating great wide field shots, with easy targeting and framing. I live in a Bortle 5 sky area, so recommend the CLS light pollution filter as well for faster / cleaner Nebula imaging, but even if you don't have that, it still works great either in a city area or out in the country in dark skies. Great for astronomy enthusiasts who just want to have a portable, easy to use set up that stacks and images all in one. Also if you are busy and don't have a lot of time to spend learning astrophotography, this device is great, as you can start imaging immediately, if you want to go further you can enhance the photos via post processing or even stacking images yourself if you don't want to use the Vespera automatically made stacked images in either Jpg, Tiff or Fits formats
