Offering diffraction-limited performance at the center of the field, the Televue 20mm Plössl Eyepiece stands out with noticeably reduced astigmatism and lateral color near the edge of the field. It delivers sharper, more refined images than any other 4- or 5-element Plössl design available.

With a 50º Apparent Field of View and 14mm of eye relief, it provides a comfortable and immersive viewing experience. The use of high-index glass enhances image quality, especially when paired with fast focal ratio telescopes, where the optical precision becomes even more apparent.
