Tele Vue 15mm Plossl Eyepiece - 1.25

This is a 15mm focal length eyepiece designed in the Plössl style.

It offers excellent on-axis performance, with high-quality optics that minimize astigmatism and lateral color distortion toward the edges of the field — thanks to the use of advanced glass types. Compared to many other 4- or 5-element Plössl or Orthoscopic eyepieces, this design produces sharper, more detailed images. The benefits become especially noticeable when used with telescopes that have faster focal ratios.

Fully multi-coated optics enhance light transmission and contrast, while blackened lens edges and internal threading reduce stray reflections, helping to bring out the finest details in the image. With a crisp, sharp field, faint stars become more distinct, and undriven mounts offer a longer viewing window before repositioning is needed.
