Stellarvue 9x50 Top Rated RA Correct Image Finderscope - White - F050IW2

The F050IW2 is Stellarvue’s newest version of our top-rated 50mm optical finderscope in instrument white. It matches the powder-coated finish on our current premier telescopes with aluminum tubes, and now comes with a carbon-fiber-sided correct image erecting prism and Stellarvue logo. 

This finderscope is the lightest 50mm on the market. It weighs only 19 ounces, and works with our standard 50mm ring systems. You may use other 1.25" eyepieces with this finderscope, converting it to a small telescope. It performs very nicely with Naglers! The 50mm objective gathers 50 times more light than the naked eye, so you can more easily spot dim objects in the night sky. 

Finderscope dimensions: 9" long, 2 1/4" wide and 6" high. The main tube is about 2.16" in diameter and the dew shield is about 2.3" in diameter.  

This finderscope comes in an Instrument White textured paint matching our aluminum telescope tubes perfectly and has a Stellarvue logo on the dew shield. Separate helical focusers allow you to focus the crosshair reticle first, then the optical focus. The angle of the prism and eyepiece may be rotated to place the eyepiece in the most comfortable position, but it may be necessary to readjust the finder scope once the eyepiece is rotated. We supply these finder scopes without rings so you can select the ring system that works with your particular telescope. Important! When installing mounting rings DO NOT unthread the dew shield. The objective may fall out. Always unthread the rear assembly (Adapter, prism, focuser, eyepiece) from the main tube to install the rings.
