SFFR.74 Focal Reducer/Flattener for SVX80T-3SV

This is the Flattener/Reducer designed for the photo-visual SVX80T-3SV using the 3" Stellarvue focuser. This redicer/flattener converts the 80 mm f-6 480 mm focal length objective into a 80 mm 360 mm focal length f-4.5 wide field astrograph. Merely unthread the 2" adapter from the drawtube on the focuser and thread this unit into the focuser drawtube.

With this model, on the camera side there is a 48 mm male thread and 55 mm of backfocus. So this flattener/Reducer as it comes will work with a DSLR with a 48 mm t-ring. It will also work with a ccd camera that uses the M48 thread and has a 55 mm back focus. If your ccd camera uses another thread and/or if the back focus is not exactly 55 mm, please call us and we can provide you with a modified version of this Reducer/flattener with the proper adapter to meet your requirements. 

Please note: This reducer flattener is larger in aperture than those made for 2" - 2.5" focusers. Since it must thread into the focuser to reach focus, it cannot be used with any Stellarvue 80 apo unless it comes with a Stellarvue FSV-3 three inch focuser!
