This Nikon lens adapter is designed to attach to the camera with the filter wheel installed. Standard filter wheels for the STF Series are the FW5-8300 and FW8-8300.  The standard filter wheel for the STT Series is the FW8S-STT.  Note:  This adapter cannot be used with the self-guiding FW8G-STT filter wheel. 

The Filter Wheel Spacer CA-FWSPACER, also available seperately, can be used in place of the filter wheel to maintain the correct distance for achieving infinity focus on cameras without filter wheels.
