DSLR camera use lithium batteries that, during long exposure astrophotography, can run out of charge and thus ruin your imaging of the night sky. That's why we created these cables with a voltage regulator and false battery that allows you to power your camera directly from the Eagle (also Eagle Core) in place of the battery.
These Eagle-compatible power cables feature on one side a false battery that plugs into the DSLR in place of the standard battery. On the other hand they have a plug with a screw connection to prevent from being accidentally disconnected from Eagle. In the middle there is a voltage regulator which converts the power to the voltage required by the selected camera.
