Seven position Indigo Filter Wheel for 2 inch filters + Set of four 2 inch mounted photographic filters in Luminance (410-680nm), Red (600-680nm), Green (500-550nm), and Blue (410-500nm).
FILTER WHEEL EATURES:
Pegasus Astro's new high-quality Indigo Filter Wheel has a 7 position carousel and can house 2inch mounted or 50mm unmounted filters.
One cable operation
Filter Wheel requires a USB2 (TypeB) cable only. This simplifies the connectivity as it does not require a separate power supply when used with USB control.
Thin Design
The body of the Indigo filter wheel is aluminum CNC milled. High quality aluminum alloy allowed us to design the filter wheel as thin as possible (19.0mm, 19.6mm with adapters installed on both sides).
Orientation on both adapters
Both sides of the filter wheel have M54 openings. The screw slide adapter (image below) allows you to properly align the orientation of your camera or telescope side. Just untie the screws and rotate the adapter to the desired orientation.
Accurate filter selection
The carousel has seven (7) slots and accepts 2-inch mounted or 50mm unmounted filters. (Max filter diameter should be 50.8mm)
Filter Wheel rotates clock or counterclockwise direction for filter selection. A combination of a direct drive stepper motor and optical encoders ensures that your filter selection is precise, and deadly accurate on every filter location.
We strongly suggest the photographic 2-inch filters in combination with the Indigo Filter Wheel.
Camera Connection
The 6 screw holes on the camera side allow direct connection with astronomical cameras that follow the same 6 x hole pattern (62mm diameter pattern) – can accept M3 or M2.5 screws). A neat feature allows you to reduce the total back focus instead of placing adapters.

FEATURES:
PARFOCAL LRGB FILTERS
Broadband filters are parfocal which ensures that you will not have to refocus when you quickly switch filters to capture images.
ANTI-REFLECTION COATINGS
Multi-layers anti-reflection coating ensure no halos, ghosting or reflections. Filters are resistant to scratches and do not get affected by temperature change.
EQUAL WEIGHT ON RGB COLOR FILTERS
RGB color combine weights are 1:1:1
LIMIT SODIUM LIGHT POLLUTION
A gap between green and red filters blocks out the primary Sodium light pollution line at 589nm and improves color balance and separation.
FILTERS:
LUMINANCE (410-680nm)
The Luminance UV/IR Cut filter is designed for ultraviolet and infrared wavelength blocking to improve sharpness of the image and reduce halos on lens optical systems.
It can be used on a CMOS and CCD cameras which do not have an IR protection filter toward an image sensor or were remodeled (DSLR, Mirrorless).
This type is required to unfiltered CCD and CMOS sensors as they are extremely susceptible to UV and IR rays just outside the visible spectrum can have a very negative impact on image quality.
RED (600-680nm)
A high contrast Red filter suitable for CMOS and CCD sensors. Filter is IR-blocked
GREEN (500-550nm)
A high contrast Green filter suitable for CMOS and CCD sensors. Filter is IR-blocked
BLUE (410-500nm)
A high contrast Blue filter suitable for CMOS and CCD sensors. Filter is IR-blocked
