By actively suppressing unwanted wavelengths of light such as those found in mercury and sodium streetlamps, an improvement in detail, color balance, and contrast within your images becomes evident! Allowing emission lines at H-Beta, OIII, H-Alpha, and SII wavelengths, celestial bodies are captured with incredible detail. The Optolong L-Quad Enhance Filter allows a stark contrast from the object in space and the bright background sky. Star clusters, dark nebulae, reflection nebulae, and galaxies can all be imaged from light polluted areas.
