The iOptron Tri-Pier 360/Permanent Pier Adapter replaces the stock top plate on the pier and allows you to install your Celestron CGX or CGX-L equatorial mount head onto iOptron's portable Tri-Pier 360, or any of the models in their Permanent Pier series. Using this plate allows you to easily mount your head without having to permanently modify your mount or pier and provides a solid, secure connection without any other fabrication. This is the adapter only—no hardware is included for attaching the mount head to the adapter.
