Enables Vespera Solar Mode
Once in Solar Pointing mode, the Vespera Smart Telescope will utilize the metalized foil material of the filter to dim the light coming through so you can observe the Sun safely. This Vespera Solar filter from Vaonis is key to unlocking the mysteries of the Sun while using your Vespera Smart Telescope and the Singularity Mobile app. This feature allows you to observe the Sun in almost real-time using the live display. You can capture images at any time using the Observation tab in the Singularity app. Please Note: Automatic video recording is not yet available in the Singularity app, and the Solar Pointing mode is not yet suitable to use during solar eclipses
Safety Warning
You should never point your Vespera telescope toward the sun unless this solar filter is installed. Additionally, the Vespera is only safe for solar observation when the solar filter is installed and the Solar Pointing feature is being used in the Singularity app. Using any other means to observe the Sun with your Vespera would void your warranty, as it may damage your equipment. Important Notice: Never look directly at the Sun without protection. Direct observation without protection and/or a solar filter, even for a short time, can lead to serious eye injury and potential loss of vision or blindness.
