The Pegasus Astro USB Stick Adapter for EQMOD will allow users of the SkyWatcher HEQ5 Syntrek/Pro, NEQ6 Syntrek/Pro, AZ EQ6-GT, and EQ8 mounts a direct connection between these mounts and a PC or laptop.
There is no hand controller needed
The Pegasus Astro EQDIR USB Stick uses an original FTDI chip, and the chip is compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, OSX, and Linux. Users do not need to install any external drivers to their PC or laptop because Windows Updates will install the latest FTDI driver.
The mount connector on this cable is the RJ45, and the PC connector is a USB Type A.
If desired, users can add a RJ45 to DB9 adapter. Simply select the option in the drop down above.
