Use this Daystar Filters Front/Rear Mounting Ring on either side of your Quantum solar filter for a variety of tasks. When in front of the filter (and used with the optional Q3GWTF front wedge plate), the mounting ring will allow you to solidly connect it to the 2" visual back of a Schmidt-Cassegrain optical tube. Installed behind the filter the ring will allow you to mount a camera using an optional camera-specific T-ring that matches its bayonet mount. This mounting ring will also work on the older T-Scanner line of filters.
