Use the Daystar Filters Q34X2D2 Red (Rear) Side Plate to seamlessly adapt a TeleVue 4X Powermate Barlow lens onto Quantum or Ion solar filters. This purpose-built plate helps to make your optics train much shorter. To install, simply unscrew the 2" female drawtube from the Powermate, screw this plate on in its place, and then attach this plate to the Quantum or Ion with three screws to the red (rear) side of the filter. The plate installs on the Powermate without permanent modification so it can be easily disassembled and used on other scopes.
