The Baader 2" Safety Kerf Nosepiece is designed to work with a full range of telescope accessories, giving you options you never thought possible. The focus side features a 2" female thread (SCT thread) to convert your accessory to a 2" male thread. This can be used to mount a 6x6 T-adapter onto a 2" focuser or to improve the 2" nosepiece of your star diagonal.
The nosepiece features a heavy-duty construction with flat black anti-reflex coatings. It has been optimized for accessories from Baader, Celestron UNC, as well as many others. Baader's Saftey Kerfs have long been an admired design feature in their Morpheus and Hyperion Zoom eyepieces. These numerous shallow kerfs allow for easy grip without inadvertent slipping, even with gloves on.
