This impressive eyepiece clamp is a tool that amateur astronomers with Hexafoc Style Focusers are sure to love. The Baader Planetarium 2" Clicklock Clamp for Hexafoc Style Focusers, specifically those Hexafoc Focusers from Explore Scientific, Bresser, and Omegon, has a M68 x 0.75 male thread and takes only a gentle turn of 20° on the knurled lever to securely clamp 2" accessories.
The ratchet function features acoustic and haptic displays of the clamp-position. This means that users will be able to hear and feel if the clamp is open or closed in the darkness of the night, rather than having to look at the clamp.
There is an included compression ring with the Clicklock clamp for Hexafoc focusers. It is made of thick-walled, hard bronze which will keep its shape evenafter years of use. This compression ring ensures that accessories are secure without scratching or adding pressure points to said accessories.
The Clicklock Clamps from Baader consists of seven components, precision machined, that provide a very effective retention mechanism that holds 2" eyepieces. It also has a fine-focus focusing knob!
