Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker ED Binoculars
These Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker ED Binoculars offer top-notch outdoor performance in a compact, easy to handle device ideally suited for birders and other passionate nature lovers. In order to put them in the same class as binoculars priced two to five times higher, Celestron has loaded their TrailSeeker ED binoculars with all sorts of optical, mechanical, and ergonomic features.
ED Objective Lenses
Chromatic aberration, also known as color fringing, is a visual defect frequently encountered in binoculars that is as good as eliminated with the Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass used for this binocular's objective lenses. Scenes viewed through TrailSeeker ED binoculars are sharp from edge to edge with superb color correction and distinct images.
Not all ED glass is created equal. Celestron’s high quality ED glass delivers visibly brighter, sharper images compared to non-ED binoculars. The difference is especially apparent in low light conditions, such as at dawn or dusk.
Coatings and Prisms
With TrailSeeker ED binoculars, all air-to-glass surfaces contain multiple layers of anti-reflectivity coatings to allow the greatest amount of light possible to be transmitted through the glass to your eye. This certifies these binoculars as “fully multi-coated.”
The interior TrailSeeker ED binocular prism consists of high quality phase-coated and dielectric-coated BaK-4 glass. This allows more light to be reflected off the prism and diverted through to your eye. Combining BaK-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics maximizes light transmission for the brightest, most detailed images possible.
Binocular Body
Made of a lightweight and durable magnesium alloy, TrailSeeker ED binoculars have a tough, resilient, rubber-coated frame that holds up to harsh wear and tear in the field. Furthermore, these binoculars are fully waterproof and filled with dry nitrogen gas to prohibit internal lens fogging.
Viewing through the TrailSeeker ED is comfortable for both eyeglass non-eyeglass wearers alike, thanks to the durable twist-up eyecups. Twist through multiple click stops to find the position that works best for you.
Perfect for a Variety of Uses
With a close focus of only 6.5 feet, TrailSeeker ED binoculars are perfect for viewing nearby subjects such as birds, butterflies, and plants. However, this 8x32 binocular provides the magnification required to achieve great views of distant subjects as well, in addition to a wide field of view to allow you to easily track them as they move. These binoculars are highly versatile and serve many functions so whatever your manner of observing, they will be there for you.
Ways to Observe
Accessories you will receive with these TrailSeeker ED binoculars include a soft case for protection between uses while being stored or transported. In addition, a neck strap and carrying harness are included for a more comfortable viewing experience. TrailSeeker ED binoculars are also tripod adaptable, so you can mount them on any standard photographic tripod for extended viewing or digiscoping sessions using a separately sold tripod adapter.
