Antlia ALP-T Dual Band 5nm Ha&OIII Filter

The Antlia ALP-T dual band 5nm Ha&OIII filter is a dual line-pass filter designed primarily for one-shot color (OSC) cameras like DSLRs and astronomical OSC cameras. It also works as a narrowband filter for monochrome cameras, saving valuable imaging time. The advanced multi-coatings isolate the red Ha and blue-green OIII lines while suppressing unwanted wavelengths from light pollution, moonlight, and airglow, resulting in superior signal-to-noise ratio and contrast.

The filter allows for capturing two main emission nebulae bands simultaneously while reducing light pollution, helping to capture cleaner data and reduce post-processing efforts.

Application and Performance:

  • Engineered for use with DSLR, CMOS, and CCD color cameras
  • Suppression of optical density (OD)4.5 on unwanted wavelengths enhances signal-to-noise
  • Steep bandpass edges minimize internal reflections
  • Ideal flat-top and moderate bandpass reducing spectrum shifts
  • Ion Gun Assisted Deposition coating for consistent light pollution suppression
  • Suppression of artificial lighting from Bortle scale 1 to 8
  • Blocks Near IR (NIR) up to 1100nm
