The mini dovetail bar is the heart of the Mini dovetail system. Smaller lighter and less expensive than the competition. The dovetail bar is 1.5" wide and 5/8" thick with hollowed out pockets on the back of the bar. The doveail bar attaches to the OTA using the existing screws holes. No drilling or tapping into the existing OTA.
Meade 8" OTA- 13.5" long with two elongated slots at each end. The back side of the dovetail bar has a channel that allows the dovetail bar to conform to the curvature of the OTA. No radius blocks required.
Meade 10" OTA- 17" long with two elongated slots at each end. The back side of the dovetail bar has a channel that allows the dovetail bar to conform to the curvature of the OTA. No radius blocks required.
Meade 12" OTA- 19.5" long with two elongated slots at each end. Radius Blocks are required and included.
Meade 14" OTA- 23.5" long with two elongated slots at each end. The back side of the dovetail bar has a channel that allows the dovetail bar to conform to the curvature of the OTA. No radius blocks required.
Meade RCX10- 15" long with two elongated slots at each end. The back side of the dovetail bar has a channel that allows the dovetail bar to conform to the curvature of the OTA. No radius blocks required.
Meade RCX12- 19.5" long with two elongated slots at each end. The back side of the dovetail bar has a channel that allows the dovetail bar to conform to the curvature of the OTA. No radius blocks required.
Meade RCX14- 21" long with two elongated slots at each end. The back side of the dovetail bar has a channel that allows the dovetail bar to conform to the curvature of the OTA. No radius blocks required.
Meade LXD- 11" long with two elongated slots at each end for a 1/4x20 socket head cap screw. Fits Meade LXD OTA's and others.
Meade AR5/AR6- 8" long with two elongated slots at each end for a 1/4x20 socket head cap screw. Fits Meade AR5/AR6 Refractors and others.
Celestron 8- 13.5" long with two elongated slots at each end. Requires the use of two small curved radius blocks. The radius blocks are designed to work with all models of Celestron 8" OTA's.
Celestron 9.25- 18" long with two elongated slots at each end. Requires the use of two small curved radius blocks. The radius blocks are designed to work with all models of Celestron 9.25" OTA's.
Celestron 11- 18" long with two elongated slots at each end. Requires the use of two small curved radius blocks. The radius blocks are designed to work with all models of Celestron 11" OTA's.
Celestron 14- 24" long with two elongated slots at each end. Requires the use of two small curved radius blocks. The radius blocks are designed to work with all models of Celestron 14" OTA's.
AT-Orion 6" RC- Fits Orion and Astro-Tech 6" Ritchey Criteon OTA.
AT-Orion 8" RC- Fits Orion and Astro-Tech 8" Ritchey Criteon OTA. A slight modification is needed to an existing dovetail bar to make this work. A small amount of silver will be visible in one of the elongated slots.
Universal 7- 7" long bar with a flat back and elongated slots at each end for a 1/4x20 socket head cap screw. Will accommodate ring spacing between 2.25" and 6.25".
